Dinner Tonight

Tater-Tot Casserole

Once again I found a recipe and tweaked it to my families liking, and it was delicious!

Ingredients

1 Bag of Tater-Tots
1 Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
1 Can of Green Beans
1 Slim can of French Fried Onions
Shredded Cheese (Colby and Jack is what I used)
Block of Cheese
Bacon Bits
1 Pound of Ground Beef

1. Brown the ground beef then drain and cook the soup as usual. Preheat you oven to the specifications of the tater-tot bag (mine was 400 F )
2. In a casserole dish place the ground beef first, then the soup over it, then the green beans (well drained), then sprinkle the French fried onions to your liking, then cut strips of the block cheese and place it on the casserole evenly (but does not have to cover the top), then place the tater-tots on top spreading them evenly so that they do not overlap and that they cover every inch of it.
3. Place in the oven until the tater-tots start to turn brown. When they start to turn, take them out and liberally sprinkle the top with the shredded cheese and bacon bits (however much you want). Place back in the oven until the cheese has melted.
4. Enjoy!

Here's one of the many places you can find the original recipe at :

  2. It was! I think it would even be great without the ground beef in it, next time I am gonna try it that way. Everyone loved it and I have a few picky eaters
