Ramblings of a Marine Wife

Yummy! I seen the pictures of this online and I just had to try it! It is super simple and comes out delicious. The only thing I may change, the "cake" part ends up tasting, well like pancakes, lol. So I would recommend putting sugar into the batter and/or using instant white cake instead of the bisquick...
Ingredients You Need:

The Topping:

1/3 cup Bisquick
1/3 cup Brown Sugar, packed
1/2 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
2 Tablespoons butter (may use margarine)

The Batter:

2 cups of Bisquick
2 Tablespoons of Sugar
2/3 cup of Milk
1 Egg

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
2. Grease a round 9 x 1 1/2 inch pan and set aside until ready.
3. In a bowl, mix the (1/3 cup) Bisquick, Brown sugar, cinnamon, then cut in the butter with a fork until crumbly. (This is the topping) Then set aside.
4. In another bowl, mix all the batter ingredients together and spread the mixture into your prepared pan. Then sprinkle the topping on top.
5. Bake for 18-22 minutes (my oven took longer). It will look golden brown on top when done, and you will definitely smell it.
6. Let it cool before removing for a few minutes, but the cake should still be served warm.
